Community Guidelines for Krilyx

Effective Date: October 27, 2026 | Last Updated: October 28, 2026 | Version 2026-10-28

Krilyx is a sports networking app for runners and cyclists. It helps people find running and riding partners, discover and join events, and build clubs, squads and a community that keeps them moving. These guidelines keep that community friendly, honest and safe. They are part of our Terms & Conditions and apply to everyone who uses Krilyx: to your profile, plans, chats, events, clubs and squads, and to how you behave when you meet people you found on Krilyx. Krilyx is for people aged 16 and over.

What happens if you break them. Each section below says what can happen if its rule is not followed. In short, depending on how serious it is, we may warn you, remove your content, limit what you can do, suspend your account or remove it permanently, and report the matter to the police. Serious breaches can lead to immediate removal without a warning. The full list is in section 9 below and in section 14 of our Terms & Conditions.

1. Be Respectful

If this is not followed: we may remove the content, warn you, limit what you can do or suspend your account. Abuse, threats, hate, harassment, or contacting someone who has said no or has blocked you may lead to permanent removal of your account without warning and, where the law is broken, to a report to the police.

2. Be Real

If this is not followed: an account, plan, event or club that is fake, that pretends to be someone else or that gives a false age will be removed together with everything it created, and we may block the phone number and device so that you cannot return. Pretending to be another person is an offence under Indian law, including the Information Technology Act, 2000. We may report it to the police and give the authorities the information they are legally entitled to ask for.

3. Show Up

If this is not followed: repeated no-shows and last-minute cancellations lower your Shows Up %, which other people can see, and may lead to limits on joining plans or hosting events. False answers to “How did it go?”, given to harm someone or to improve your own record, break these guidelines and may lead to your account being limited or removed.

4. Stay Safe When You Meet

Krilyx cannot check who people are beyond their phone number, so please look after yourself:

If this is not followed: these are safety suggestions, and you are responsible for your own safety when you meet people. If you put another person at risk, for example by pressing them to meet somewhere private or to share their location, we may treat it as a breach of section 1 and take the steps in section 9.

5. Host Rules

If you create an event or a club, or lead a club run or ride, you are the host. Each time you publish an event or create a club you confirm that you will follow these rules.

If this is not followed: we may cancel your event or club without notice, tell the people who joined, switch off your ability to host, and suspend or remove your account. You are responsible for your event, for any loss or harm caused by your failure to follow these rules and for any permission the law requires; if you organise an event without it, you may be liable under the law whatever action we take.

You are responsible for your event or club. Krilyx is not the organiser of events and clubs that users create, does not supervise them and is not responsible for what happens at them. See our Terms & Conditions.

6. What Is Not Allowed

If this is not followed: we will remove the content as soon as we become aware of it. Repeated or serious breaches lead to permanent removal of your account. Illegal content, and anything that puts a child at risk, is reported to the authorities.

7. Respect Other People’s Privacy

If this is not followed: we will remove what you shared and may limit or remove your account. Sharing someone’s private details or images without their permission can also be an offence under Indian law, and the person affected may take legal action against you.

8. Report & Block

If this is not followed: false, malicious or repeated reports, and using another account to contact someone who has blocked you, break these guidelines and may lead to your account being limited or removed.

9. If The Rules Are Broken

If you break these guidelines, our Terms & Conditions or the law, or if we reasonably believe that you have, we may take any one or more of these steps, in any order, with or without notice:

  1. Warn you and tell you what must stop.
  2. Remove or hide your content, plans, events, clubs or messages.
  3. Limit your account, for a period or permanently: for example no hosting, no messaging, no Ally requests, or no joining plans and events.
  4. Suspend your account while we look into the matter.
  5. Remove your account permanently and block the phone number or device you used, so that you cannot come back.
  6. Cancel events, clubs, runs and rides that you host, and tell the people who joined.
  7. Report you to the police or another authority and give them the information they are legally entitled to ask for.
  8. Take legal action to recover any loss we suffer because of what you did.

We look at how serious the matter is, whether it has happened before and the risk to other people. We do not have to warn you first: serious breaches (such as impersonation, harassment, threats, anything that puts a child at risk, fraud, or sharing private images or details without permission) can lead to immediate and permanent removal. Making a new account to get around a ban is itself a breach, and the new account will be removed.

These guidelines do not replace the law. You are personally responsible for what you do, and some conduct is a criminal offence under Indian law, whatever action we take. See section 14 of our Terms & Conditions. If you think we made a mistake, tell us (section 10) and we will review it.
