Terms & Conditions for Krilyx

Effective Date: October 2, 2026 | Last Updated: October 28, 2026 | Version 2026-10-28

1. Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to Krilyx. By downloading, installing, or accessing the Krilyx application, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the application. When you create an account you confirm that you have read these Terms & Conditions, our Privacy Policy and our Community Guidelines, and agree to them.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years of age to create an account and use Krilyx. By registering, you warrant and represent that you meet this age requirement. If you are under 18, you confirm that a parent or guardian knows that you use Krilyx and agrees to these terms.

3. User Accounts & Security

Accounts are authenticated securely via SMS One-Time Password (OTP). You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account access and for all activities that occur under your account. Give accurate information, use only your own account, and do not pretend to be someone else.

4. Squads & Group Participation

Krilyx allows users to create and join Squads (social and event groups). Squad affiliation is purely a free, in-app social group feature. There are no paid memberships or recurring subscription fees required to participate in Squads.

5. Your Content, Conduct & Zero-Tolerance Policy

Krilyx lets you share activity pings, create events, clubs and squads, chat with Allies and other members, and add a name, a bio and photos. Everything you post, send or upload is “your content”.

You must not post, send or do any of the following:

Zero tolerance. We do not tolerate objectionable content or abusive users. If you break these rules we may, at our sole discretion and without notice, take any of the steps listed in section 14, including removing the content, limiting features, suspending or permanently removing your account, and reporting the matter to the authorities.

Our Community Guidelines explain these rules, and what we expect when you meet people or host something, in plain language. They form part of these terms.

6. Reporting & Blocking

Report. You can report an event, an activity (ping), a club, a club run or ride, a squad, a person or a chat from the flag or “Report” option on that screen. Reports are private: the person you report is never told who reported them. Our team reviews reports and we aim to do so within 24 hours. We may hide or remove content and suspend or remove accounts. Content reported by several different people may be hidden automatically until our team has reviewed it. Reporting in bad faith (for example false or repeated reports to harass someone) may lead to action against your account.

Block. You can block anyone from their profile or from a one-to-one chat. Blocking is private and the other person is not told. After you block someone, they are removed from your Allies and requests, and you stop seeing their messages, pings, events, Ally requests and squad invitations and stop getting notifications from them. Blocking changes what you see; it does not delete what was already sent and it does not remove their content from other people. You can undo it any time in Settings > Blocked People.

If someone makes you feel unsafe, block and report them. Krilyx is not an emergency service: in an emergency call 112 (India).

7. Safety & In-Person Meetups Disclaimer

Krilyx is a sports networking app that connects runners and cyclists with each other, with events and with clubs. All in-person meetups, runs, cycling rides, and events occur voluntarily and at your own risk. Krilyx is not liable or responsible for any injuries, losses, disputes, or damages resulting from in-person activities or interactions with other users. Krilyx does not check anyone’s identity beyond their phone number, does not run background checks, and cannot promise that anyone is who they say they are or will behave or turn up. Use your own judgement: meet in public places, tell a friend where you are going, bring what you need, and leave if you feel unsafe.

8. Third-Party Integrations

Krilyx integrates with Mapbox for interactive map services. By using location features in Krilyx, you also agree to be bound by Mapbox's Terms of Service.

9. Events, Clubs, Hosts and Reliability

Events: Events on Krilyx are free and are organised by their hosts, not by Krilyx, unless an event is clearly marked as organised by Krilyx. Hosts are responsible for their event, its safety and its accuracy, and may close registration or cancel. Your ticket is personal; do not share it. Clubs: Club owners and admins manage their members and club runs or rides.

Hosts: To create an event or a club you must be at least 18 years old. Each time you publish an event or create a club you confirm that you will follow the Host Rules in our Community Guidelines. You are responsible for the people you invite, for their safety during your event, for any permission your event needs from the venue or the authorities, and for keeping attendees’ details (such as phone numbers) private and using them only for your event. If you do not follow the Host Rules, we may cancel your event or club, remove your ability to host and take any other step listed in section 14, and you remain responsible for any loss or harm caused by your event.

Reliability: After a plan, people can answer “How did it go?”; these answers form a public “shows up” record that cannot be hidden. Answer honestly. The percentage comes only from other users’ answers and is only meant to give you an idea of how reliable someone has been. It is not a verification or a guarantee of anyone’s reliability, character or safety. Giving false answers, to harm someone or to improve your own record, breaks these terms (see section 14). Reports: see section 6.

10. Our Role

Krilyx is a sports networking app for runners and cyclists. It helps people find running and riding partners, discover and join events, and build clubs, squads and lasting connections. It provides the service as an “intermediary” under the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the rules made under it. Runs, rides, events, clubs and squads that users create are organised by those users, not by Krilyx. Krilyx is not a party to anything agreed between users and does not employ, supervise, endorse or vouch for any user, host or club admin. Hosts and club admins are independent users, not Krilyx staff. If Krilyx itself organises an activity in future, we will clearly mark it as organised by Krilyx and publish its participation rules with it.

11. Our Property

The Krilyx app, name, logo and design belong to us. You may not copy, resell, reverse-engineer or misuse them. If you believe something on Krilyx copies your work, tell us (see section 16) and we will look into it.

12. Availability, No Warranties & Limit of Liability

Our commitment. We work hard to keep Krilyx reliable, safe and easy to use, and we fix problems as quickly as we can.

“As is” and “as available”. Like every online service, Krilyx depends on phones, networks and third-party services that we do not control. For that reason, and to the fullest extent permitted by law, Krilyx is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not give any warranty that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that it will meet every need you have.

Information in the app. Maps, distances, directions, times, notifications and the details that users and hosts provide (such as plans, event details and Shows Up %) come from users, hosts and third-party services, and may sometimes be delayed, incomplete or inaccurate. Please confirm the time and place with the host or your Allies before you set out, do not rely on Krilyx alone for anything urgent or safety-related, follow traffic rules, road signs and your own judgement rather than the map’s directions, and keep your own copy of anything important. We may pause, change or end a feature for maintenance, updates, security or legal reasons.

Limit of liability. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Krilyx and the people behind it are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, for loss of data, profit, opportunity or reputation, or for any injury, loss, damage, dispute or harm that comes from: (a) content posted by users; (b) the behaviour of other users, hosts or club admins, online or in person; (c) any run, ride, meetup or event arranged through Krilyx; or (d) interruptions, delays, outages, errors or inaccurate or out-of-date information in the app or in third-party services. Where a liability cannot be excluded by law, our total liability to you for all claims connected with Krilyx is limited to the amount you have paid us in the 12 months before the claim or ₹1,000, whichever is higher. Nothing in these terms excludes any liability that cannot be excluded under the law.

13. Indemnity

You agree to protect and compensate Krilyx and the people behind it against any claim, loss, damage or cost (including reasonable legal fees) that comes from your content, your use of the app, your meetings with other people, or your breaking these terms or the law.

14. Consequences Of Breaking These Terms

These Terms, the Community Guidelines (including the Host Rules) and the law apply to everyone who uses Krilyx. If you break them, or if we reasonably believe that you have, we may take any one or more of the following steps, in any order and at our sole discretion:

How we decide. We consider how serious the matter is, whether it has happened before, the risk to other people, the reports we have received and what the law requires. We do not have to give a warning first. For serious conduct, such as impersonation or fake accounts, harassment, threats, stalking, anything that sexualises or endangers a child, fraud or scams, sharing someone’s private details or images without permission, or violence, we may suspend or permanently remove your account immediately and without notice.

Coming back after a ban. Making a new account, or using someone else’s, to return after your account has been limited, suspended or removed is itself a breach of these Terms, and we may remove that account too.

What happens to your data. If your account is removed, your plans, events, clubs and chats may be removed or hidden, and your Shows Up % and history may no longer be shown. We may keep records of the matter (such as reports, the content concerned and your account details) for as long as the law requires and as we need to deal with complaints, disputes and legal claims, as explained in our Privacy Policy. Removing your account does not cancel any responsibility or liability you already have.

Your legal responsibility. You alone are responsible for what you do on Krilyx and when you meet other people. Some conduct, such as pretending to be another person or using their identity to deceive, threatening, stalking or harassing someone, sharing intimate or private images without consent, or making false statements about a person, is an offence under Indian law, including the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023. It can lead to prosecution and to a court ordering you to pay compensation to the person you harmed, whatever action we take. We may cooperate with the police and the courts and may keep and disclose information when the law requires it.

False or abusive reports. Knowingly false, malicious or repeated reports, made to harass someone or to misuse Krilyx, are themselves a breach of these Terms and may lead to the same steps.

If you think we made a mistake. Write to us as set out in section 16 with your phone number and what you would like us to look at. We will review it and reply. This does not affect any right you have under the law.

15. Suspension, Termination & Changes

You can stop using Krilyx and delete your account in Settings at any time. As well as the steps in section 14, we may suspend or end your access if we reasonably believe you are a risk to others, if the law requires it, or if we stop running the service. Parts of these terms that are meant to continue (such as your responsibility for your content, the disclaimers, the limit of liability, the indemnity, the consequences in section 14 and the governing law) stay in force after your account ends.

We may change these terms, for example when we add features. We will update the “Last Updated” date and, for important changes, tell you in the app. If you keep using Krilyx after a change, you accept the new terms.

Governing law. These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes will be handled by the courts at Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, subject to any rights you have under consumer protection law.

16. Complaints, Grievance Officer & Contact

For questions about these Terms & Conditions, for a complaint about content or behaviour, a takedown request or any other grievance, you can use Report in the app or write to us at playoutalpha@gmail.com with the subject “Grievance”. We aim to acknowledge your message within 24 hours and to resolve it within 15 days.

Grievance Officer: Yash Katare. Email: playoutalpha@gmail.com (subject “Grievance”). The name and contact details of the Grievance Officer are published as required by the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021.
